During the SEMANTiCS 2018 in Vienna, Sep 10-13, the DBpedia Community will get together on the 10th of September for the 12th edition of the DBpedia Community Meeting.

We are happy to announce that the next DBpedia meetup will be held in Lyon, France on July 3rd 2018, hosted by LARHRA Laboratory. We are looking forward to meeting in person with the French DBpedia Community.

The DBpedia meetup in Poznan aims at the presentation of semantic web technologies and their use in applications by entrepreneurs.

Very shortly after the DBpedia Meeting in Amsterdam we are crossing Atlantic for the third time. We are happy to announce that the 11th DBpedia Meeting will be held in Cupertino, California on October 12th 2017, hosted by Apple.

During the SEMANTiCS 2017 in Amsterdam, Sep 11-14, the DBpedia Community will get together on the 14th of September for the 10th edition of the DBpedia Community Meeting.

We are happy to announce that the 9th DBpedia community meeting will be held in Galway, Ireland on June 21st 2017. DBpedia will be part of the Language, Data and Knowledge conference in Galway. This new biennial conference series aims at bringing together researchers from across disciplines. The DBpedia Meeting is part of the conference and will take part on the last day.

Very shortly after the largest DBpedia meeting to date we are crossing Atlantic for the second time. We are happy to announce that the 8th DBpedia meeting will be held in Sunnyvale on October 27th 2016, hosted by Yahoo.

The event will feature talks from Yahoo, IBM Watson, LinkedIn and Lattice amongst others. The topics will include knowledge graphs & machine learning, open data, open source and startups.

During the SEMANTiCS 2016 in Leipzig, Sep 12-15, the DBpedia community will get together on the 15th of September for the 7th edition of the DBpedia Community Meeting.

After years of discussion, the DBpedia community has finally found consensus on how to step into the future. During this meeting, we will come together to celebrate this achievement and also discuss and hold a vote to fill the DBpedia Association with life. Other subjects will reflect the efforts of the DBpedia community on a general Public Data Infrastructure for a large, multilingual, Semantic Knowledge Graph. In addition, there will be a showcase session on current developments and a DBpedia Dev session about technical issues and challenges in DBpedia as well as hands-on tutorials for DBpedia newbies.

DBpedia will be part of the 19th International Conference on Business Information Systems (6-8 July 2016) at the University of Leipzig. The conference addresses a wide scientific community and experts involved in the development of business computing applications. The three-day conference program is a mix of workshops, tutorials and paper sessions.
